View of a lifetime

Residents and staff gathered in front of The Glen on Monday April 8, 2024 to step into the sun and view the Solar Eclipse.

Here in Kirkwood we were at 99% totality. It did not get completely dark, but it did get cooler and quiet. It has been seven years since the last solar eclipse. The next eclipse will be in August of 2044.

We were thrilled to take part in this historic event!
